Autumn Aesthetic Retreat 2025 brought together creatives at a stunning home on the shores of Lake Huron, where the season painted every scene in rich, golden tones. Surrounded by crisp air, textured landscapes, and endless water, photographers and models collaborated to create imagery that feels both cinematic and deeply atmospheric. 1st Annual Halloween Group Shoot 2025

The Good Gate transformed early autumn into something deliciously eerie, hosting a Halloween-inspired photography event at a scare park in September 2025. Set against a backdrop of fog-drenched trails, flickering lanterns, and cinematic shadows, the experience blended high-fashion visuals with haunting atmosphere. Models and photographers collaborated to capture striking, story-driven imagery that felt equal parts editorial and otherworldly—proving that when creativity meets the uncanny, unforgettable moments are bound to emerge.

Road Rally Scavenger Hunt 2025

We hosted a city-wide Photography Road Rally where teams of photographers set out to solve location-based clues and race to different landmarks, businesses, and hidden spots around the city. Each team had to decode riddles, navigate quickly, and creatively capture images at each stop. The event blended problem-solving, collaboration, and artistic vision—turning the entire city into an interactive photo adventure.

Group Beach Shoot 2025

Every year, we host our signature Beach Shoot, bringing together photographers, models, and creatives for a relaxed, collaborative day on the shoreline. It’s a chance for everyone to experiment with natural light, try new concepts, and create stunning work in a scenic environment. The vibe is always easygoing—sun, sand, waves (if you look very closely), and a community of artists coming together to make something beautiful. It’s quickly become one of our most anticipated gatherings of the year.

Disco Detroit 2025

We also host special themed shoots throughout the year, renting out unique locations to give photographers something completely different to work with. This time the theme was Disco Detroit—a retro, neon-soaked setup inspired by the city’s nightlife history. Photographers and models stepped into a world of vintage lights, metallic textures, and bold stylistic choices, creating images that felt both nostalgic and vibrant. These themed sessions let everyone push their creativity in a fresh direction and walk away with something truly standout.
